Structured ways to run Own Your Evidence with a cohort.

Each programme reuses the existing Evidence Brief journey. Nothing is duplicated for participants, and no participant account is required.

Employability Evidence Programme

Intended participants

Students, graduates and early career professionals supported by careers, employability or widening participation teams.

Problem addressed

Many students and graduates have done far more than they can describe. They under-report part-time work, caring responsibilities, volunteering, society leadership and placement contribution, and then struggle to evidence skills in applications and interviews.

Participant journey

  1. Enter the programme code supplied by the institution
  2. Confidence baseline: three short ratings and one intention question
  3. The existing Evidence Brief journey — five reflection questions
  4. Receive an editable Evidence Brief
  5. Apply My Evidence: choose an opportunity and create an Opportunity Evidence Card
  6. Build a short Evidence Action Plan
  7. Answer the post-use confidence and experience questions

Outputs

  • Personal Evidence Brief (editable, downloadable)
  • Opportunity Evidence Card for a chosen application or interview
  • Evidence Action Plan with a next action and deadline

Possible delivery format

Self-directed with a 60–90 minute facilitated workshop, or embedded in an employability module, induction week or placement preparation.

Anonymised evaluation measures

  • Confidence in recognising achievements, before and after
  • Confidence in explaining contribution, before and after
  • Confidence in using evidence in an application, before and after
  • Percentage identifying a previously overlooked achievement
  • Percentage leaving with a specific next action
  • Intended opportunity types and overall satisfaction

Career and Promotion Evidence Programme

Intended participants

Employees preparing for promotion, appraisal, internal moves, women's leadership programmes, and colleagues returning to work or changing career.

Problem addressed

Capable people lose opportunities because their contribution is invisible in writing. Promotion cases and applications describe activity rather than outcome, and under-claiming is uneven across the workforce.

Participant journey

  1. Enter the programme code supplied by the organisation
  2. Confidence baseline and intended use
  3. The existing Evidence Brief journey — five reflection questions
  4. Receive an editable Evidence Brief
  5. Apply My Evidence: promotion case, interview or internal application
  6. Build an Evidence Action Plan naming a supporter and a deadline
  7. Answer the post-use confidence and experience questions

Outputs

  • Personal Evidence Brief (editable, downloadable)
  • Opportunity Evidence Card for a promotion, interview or application
  • Evidence Action Plan with supporter, deadline and progress measure

Possible delivery format

Two 60-minute sessions, or a single half-day workshop within a leadership, returners or talent development programme.

Anonymised evaluation measures

  • Confidence change across the three programme measures
  • Percentage identifying a previously overlooked achievement
  • Percentage with clearer language for explaining contribution
  • Percentage creating an action plan
  • Intended opportunity types and overall satisfaction

Researcher Evidence and Impact Programme

Intended participants

Doctoral researchers, postdoctoral researchers, early and mid-career academics, and research staff supported by researcher development teams.

Problem addressed

Researchers are asked to evidence contribution, impact, leadership and service across fellowship applications, promotion cases and narrative CVs, often without language that is both truthful and confident.

Participant journey

  1. Enter the programme code supplied by the institution
  2. Confidence baseline and intended use
  3. The existing Academic and Researcher Evidence Brief journey
  4. Receive an editable Academic Evidence Brief
  5. Apply My Evidence: fellowship, funding, promotion or academic profile
  6. Build an Evidence Action Plan
  7. Answer the post-use confidence and experience questions

Outputs

  • Academic Evidence Brief (editable, downloadable)
  • Opportunity Evidence Card for a funding, fellowship or promotion route
  • Evidence Action Plan aligned to a named deadline

Possible delivery format

90-minute researcher development workshop, or asynchronous use within a doctoral or postdoctoral development framework.

Anonymised evaluation measures

  • Confidence change across the three programme measures
  • Percentage identifying a previously overlooked contribution
  • Percentage with clearer language for narrative CV or promotion use
  • Percentage creating an action plan
  • Intended opportunity types and overall satisfaction
